Recently I visited a wonderful
cabin in the hills of Mendocino, California. While we were at the cabin
I took many pictures of the beautiful landscape. This is
just one example. This bridge spans the river you will see in later
pictures. |
| This was a burned out tree. The residents
speculated the tree was hit by lightning. The diameter of this redwood
was approximately 20 feet at the base. After it burned it reached a height
of around 50 feet. |

This is one of the many ducks in the Disneyland
Park. This one is just outside Sleeping Beauty's Castle. |
| Just a yellow flower in our trip to the
cabin. Just one example of my experiments with the Macro abilities of my
lens. |

While we were at the cabin we saw lots of
wildlife. This lizard was sunning on the deck right next to where we
were eating lunch. |
| While I was there, I went on many hikes.
This was one of the man made trails along one of the hikes. The
residents hiked all of these trails, carefully creating walkways and
steps along the way. |
